I love you - Florian Fietz
"Hey LoveTeam,
I absolutely appreciate that you want to embed my short on your website and I feel much honored. During the development of a short movie you always hope to find someone who likes it...
It's an interesting question about my favorite love movies. It's not so easy to answer it because it always depends on your mood and the situation.
I checked your website and compared your opinion and mine on some movies:
On the one hand you have this romantic-cuddle movies like 'Titanic', but on the other hand I think you can more learn about you and the
behavior to others in a movie like 'The last kiss'.
I also have a fable for movies with some kind of sacrifice-love. Burton's 'Big Fish' is not a love story on the first view, but it tells you
a lot about self-abandonment and getting older together. On the one hand Pixar's 'Wall-E' is about pollution but on the other hand it shows a great love story between two robots with the
deep emotional wish for holding hands.
I also like the keynote of 'PS. I Love You', but the movie was some kind of boring for me...
Because I am a film student, I want to try to decide on my favorite love movies without the emotional component, because it always means something different for everyone.
I love the Baz Luhrman's: 'Romeo + Juliet' - The story of Shakespear's 'Romeo and
Juliet' has everything a good love story needs.
The other Baz Luhrman movie I really like is 'Moulin Rouge'. But mainly because it has this awesome sound and a great styling!
But my favorite love movie and this is maybe some kind of surprising: 'Zack and Miri make a porno'. This movie has a kinky topic and some very hard jokes, but it is also a very nice love
story in the second half of the movie!
Actually I could continue this list till infinity there are so many great films about love (e.g. 'Seven Pounds'). A good female friend of mine likes 'Vicky Christina Barcelona'
and 'Funny Face' (1957).
Best regards from Germany,
Florian Fietz."

L'animation 3D n'est pas top, mais l'histoire est vraiment chouette. La chute est géniale !
